MJ-12 MAJIC and Joint Chiefs of Staff

Skeptics have complained to me that the markings found on the MJ-12 MAJIC Eisenhower Briefing Document are bogus.

Here is the latest example to prove them wrong: the use of ***** to box in the classification marking.

Witness this Joint Chiefs of Staff Message Center document pasted next to the original MJ-12 MAJIC EBD document. This appears to add further weight to the argument that whoever created the document intended it to be identified with the Joint Chiefs and the Joint Intelligence Committee.

US ARMY Foreign Counterintelligence and Psychic Spies

Best Evidence Series for The Men Who Stare at Goats

It's been several years since Jon Ronson published his darkly humorous investigation of psychic spies and paranormal goat-killers.

This November, a fictional film version of Ronson's book starring George Clooney will debut in theaters.

Based upon the trailer, it looks to be a lot of fun regardless of your feelings about Ronson's investigation.

The movie is stirring up renewed interest in the book as well, so STARpod.org is presenting The Men Who Stare at Goats -- Best Evidence from the CIA's STAR GATE collection.

Among the files we'll be releasing on-line are INSCOM and General Stubblebine (no mention of walking through walls but we're still looking!), pages that reference various persons in the book, including Uri Geller, Ron, and Colonel John B. Alexander, Ed Dames remote viewing sessions targeting the extraterrestrials, and more.

This is a developing release and we expect to add more files as we approach the movie premier.

Psychic War Research and the KGB

The above image is a scan of the second page of a SECRET CIA/DDI/OSI draft document written to brief the President of the United States about CIA involvement in the paranormal.

This document notes that the Soviet paranormal research "started about 1960" and was "largely funded by the military" with "substantial KGB involvement, possibly including some KGB funding."

The document continues to state there are three primary areas of interst to the Soviet program:

Remote psychic viewing

Telepathy or psychic communication

Psychokinesis or mind-over-matter influence

In this document released by the CIA, the STAR GATE contract researchers at SAIC note three experiments related to anomalous mental phenomena (AMP).

Item number 3 concerns "A confirmation experiment to determine if an isolated person's skin conductance can be influenced by a remote individual."

This observation selection effect is an example of "remote mental perturbation" which is commonly called psychokinesis.

The latter half includes an interview with Ed May, the SAIC research scientist for STAR GATE, an unnamed CIA monitor for operational psychic spies called "Norm," and Robert Gates, then the former DCI / CIA and currently the Secretary of Defense.
